Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every purchase, live break and event booked with BoxToBox Breaks. By placing an order, joining a break or entering an event, you agree to them.

If you buy as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK law.

1. Orders, pricing and payment

A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. Until then, we may decline any order.

  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.

  • Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.

  • Payment is taken in full at checkout via [payment providers, e.g. card, PayPal, Shopify Payments].

  • If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

  • We may limit quantities per customer, especially on new releases, to keep stock fair for everyone.

2. Pre-orders and allocation

Pre-orders depend on the stock our distributors allocate to us, which we do not control.

  • Release dates are set by the publisher and may change without notice.

  • If our allocation is reduced, we will fill pre-orders in the order they were placed.

  • Any pre-order we cannot fill will be refunded in full within [14] days.

  • You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched.

3. Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • In-stock orders are usually dispatched within [2] working days.

  • Orders over [£100] are sent tracked and signed for.

  • Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave us.

  • If a parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us within [7] days of the expected delivery date and we will investigate with the courier.

4. Returns, cancellations and refunds

For online purchases you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

  • Sealed products must be returned unopened, with all shrink wrap and seals intact.

  • Opened booster packs, boxes or decks cannot be returned unless faulty, because their contents are random.

  • You pay the cost of returning items unless they are faulty or we sent the wrong item.

  • Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the return.

5. Live breaks

Live breaks run on Whatnot and other platforms, and that platform's own terms also apply.

  • Every product opened in a break is sealed and is opened live on stream.

  • Spots, teams or packs are allocated by the method announced before the break starts, such as a randomiser.

  • The value of cards you receive is not guaranteed and may be more or less than you paid.

  • Once a break has started, purchases cannot be cancelled or refunded.

  • Cards from a break are posted within [5] working days of the break ending.

6. Organised play events and competitions

We run organised play events each month in Essex for Disney Lorcana, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece Card Game and other games.

  • Entry fees are shown when you book. Refunds are given if you cancel at least [48] hours before the event.

  • If we cancel an event, you will get a full refund or a place at a future event.

  • Tournaments follow the official rules for each game. The event organiser's ruling on the day is final.

  • Prizes, prize support and store credit are announced before each event and have no cash alternative.

  • Store credit expires [12] months after it is issued.

  • Players must behave respectfully. We may remove anyone who cheats, harasses others or damages property, without a refund.

  • Under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, unless agreed with us beforehand.

  • Events may be photographed or filmed for our social media. Tell the organiser if you would rather not appear.

7. Product condition and authenticity

All products we sell are genuine and sourced from authorised distributors or verified sellers.

  • Sealed products are sold as factory sealed. We do not guarantee the contents of any pack or box.

  • Single cards are graded by eye using the condition shown on the listing, such as Near Mint or Lightly Played.

  • Minor packaging marks on sealed products are not treated as faults unless the seal is broken.

8. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or where the law does not allow it.

9. Intellectual property

All trademarks, game names and card artwork belong to their respective owners, including The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Bandai and Disney/Ravensburger. BoxToBox Breaks is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

10. Privacy

We use your personal details only to process orders, run events and contact you about them. See our [Privacy Policy] for details.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place an order or book an event applies.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are handled by the courts of England and Wales.
